My older sister is getting married this summer, so what does that mean as the crafty younger sister? I came back from school and immediately I am given a HUGE art project.... 1000 paper cranes for my sister's wedding. It'll look INCREDIBLE, but it is sooo much wooorrkk. My parents, who have never folded anything more complicated than a paper airplane before, bless them, are probably making even more cranes than I am right now. We're making progress, though. We have 62 more days to the reception, and we have 210 cranes folded. That's 21% done! Woooo! BUT on top of that my sister has asked me to make a beaded orchid hair ornament.
When this is all over, I will be breathing a HUGE sigh of relief. And I won't want to touch another piece of origami paper or seed bead for quite a while.
Which brings me to my next topic - I was browsing dA a while ago and I came across a couple art forms that I am DYING to try... the question is, what first? The one that gets second will probably have to wait until next year to get started, what with dang college getting in the way. The two things are

fav.me/d3abd1bThere are much more where that one came from. Kanzashi is the name for these fabric Japanese hairpieces - it's like
fabric folding, that makes beautiful flowers for your hair.
I DUNNO WHAT TO DO FIRST.
This is a dilemma. So I need your help! What should I try first?
