I thought I wouldn't get into hair flowers/ pins, since I don't really wear them myself, but I made this for my Grandma for her birthday next week. She's been wanting one, haha.
My grandma is the best orchid grower EVER. She loves orchids so much
So it seemed fitting that the flower I should make her was an orchid. It's about 2.5"x3" big. (Orchid pattern by Robert Lang, from his book Origami Design Secrets)
In other news, it was SUPER WEIRD to make something this big, haha! Every piece of origami I've been making lately has been teeny, so this was a fun change of pace
